Ms. VanWagoner is a Senior Consultant for DeMarche and specializes in advising foundations and endowments. She is a frequent speaker at DeMarche investment workshops, discussing current trends in defined contribution plans, asset allocation and fiduciary responsibilities.
Ms. VanWagoner previously served as Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at American Century Investments, where she worked with the firm’s largest institutional clients and consultants. Prior to that, she was the Director of Client Service and Consultant Relations for Thomson Horstmann & Bryant. She began her investment career at DeMarche in a management position and advanced to become a Senior Consultant. She is an advisory board member of the Kansas City Women’s Foundation where she has also served as president and board member. She also serves as an advisory board member for the School of Social Welfare at the University of Kansas and as a board member at the HealthCare Foundation. She is a former member of the investment committee of the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.
Ms. VanWagoner earned her MBA from Rockhurst University and her BSBA from the School of Business at the University of Kansas. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Kansas City. She holds FINRA Securities Licenses Series 63, 65 and 66.
