Travis Newman is a Senior Consultant at DeMarche. He specializes in asset allocation policy, portfolio implementation, and investment research for some of the firm’s largest clients. His client experience includes large corporations, associations, foundations, and faith-based organizations. He is a voting member of the DeMarche Manager Review Committee (MARC), the MARC for Alternatives, and the Asset Allocation Committee. In addition, Mr. Newman is a frequent speaker at DeMarche investment workshops, addressing topics such as asset allocation, implementation strategies, pension concepts and manager selection.
Prior to rejoining DeMarche in 2010, Mr. Newman served as the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Business Development at Commerce Bank. Previously, he worked at Gilmore & Bell as a Financial Analyst. He began his investment career with DeMarche in 2000 supporting consultants and clients, which included making key contributions to asset allocation and asset liability projects.
Mr. Newman earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He holds a FINRA Securities Series 65 license.
