Brooke Garcia, CFA, CAIA, is a Client Portfolio Manager and Consultant at DeMarche. As a Client Portfolio Manager, she participates in asset allocation and investment selection decisions for all discretionary client accounts, communicates strategy decisions with clients and internal staff, and provides trade implementation for investment portfolios. In her role as a Consultant, she serves both Advisory and Discretionary clients, specializing in defined contribution plans for large corporate accounts along with foundations and endowments. Additionally, she is a member of the Manager Review Committee (MARC) for Alternatives.
Before joining DeMarche, Ms. Garcia served as a Senior Investment Consultant for CBIZ Retirement Plan Services. Prior to that, she was a Manager of Mutual Fund Research for Security Benefit. In that role, she was primarily responsible for selecting and reviewing asset managers for inclusion in Security Benefit’s suite of retirement products. She has also held the positions of Trust Operations Manager and Senior Financial Analyst at CoreFirst Bank & Trust. Ms. Garcia is a member of the Young Professionals Board for Boys Hope Girls Hope of Kansas City, which helps academically motivated middle and high school students rise above disadvantaged backgrounds and become successful in college and beyond. She is also a former volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement.
Ms. Garcia earned her Bachelors of Arts in Intercultural Studies and Community Development from John Brown University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder. She is a regular member of the CFA Institute, a member of the CFA Society Kansas City, and a member of CAIA Association.
