Brooke Garcia, CFA is a Consultant and Client Portfolio Manager at DeMarche. In her role as Consultant, she serves both Advisory and Discretionary clients. She specializes in advising defined contribution plans in the large corporate market as well as foundations and endowments. As a Client Portfolio Manager, she participates in discretionary investment meetings and communicates strategy decisions with clients and internal staff. She also provides trade implementation for discretionary portfolios.
Prior to joining DeMarche, Ms. Garcia served as a Senior Investment Consultant for CBIZ Retirement Plan Services. Before that, she was a Manager of Mutual Fund Research for Security Benefit. In that role, she was primarily responsible for selecting and reviewing asset managers for inclusion in Security Benefit’s suite of retirement products. She has also held the positions of Trust Operations Manager and Senior Financial Analyst at CoreFirst Bank & Trust. Ms. Garcia is a former volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement, which educates young people about critical life skills to promote financial capability, career readiness, and business ownership.
Ms. Garcia earned her Bachelors of Arts in Intercultural Studies and Community Development from John Brown University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, a regular member of the CFA Institute, and a member of the CFA Society Kansas City. Ms. Garcia is currently a Level II candidate in the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) program.
