DeMarche starts it's Annual Research Project for the 100 Best Companies in the United States Award
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Investment consultant DeMarche Associates, Inc., has announced
they have begun their annual research project. The results, which are expected in early
April of 2010, will be released as a new list of 100 companies for the year ending
December 31, 2009. The program, launched eight years ago, recognizes the
"Best 100" U.S. companies for operating performance that significantly improves
shareholder value.
Based on proprietary research and analysis of each company's fundamentals,
these 100 organizations are recognized as the best companies - categorized by
industry - for achieving regular performance within the top three percent of
all major U.S. corporations. This status also recognizes the highly successful
management of growth and risk factors, as measured by DeMarche's exclusive
migration technique to attain consistency in fundamental shareholder value.

Performance of the Best 100 in 2008 was
-22.5 percent vs. 37.9 percent for the DeMarche 3000,
for the 3 years ending 12/31/2008, trading the Best 100 as a portfolio, it was
up 9.0 percent vs. -6.3 percent.
